Camogie has an important place in our school activities here in St. Ursula’s. We strive for all girls to get the opportunity to play one of our best loved national games at some stage during their time here. Much of the coaching is undertaken by staff members but outside agencies such as The Waterford Coaching and Games Development, an organisation overseen by the GAA, also train the girls in many of the skills they need to acquire to play the game.

The girls partake in the various Cumann na mBunscol competitions over the course of an academic year. There are indoor blitzes, mini-sevens competitions and the end of year league. Our school has had plenty of success in these competitions over the years and we have had many an outing to Walsh Park to cheer our teams on in finals!
